Tuesday's Picks

Spurs -7 vs Detroit: The spurs come in winners of five of their last six and are also 5-1 ATS during that stretch. They not only hold the leagues best record at 42-8, but they enter the matchup on four days rest. The Pistons on the other hand come in winners of two in a row, covering in both those match ups. They will certainly be tested more tonight as those two wins were over the Bucks and Nets. San Antonio has played very against the central this season going 6-2 ATS. Detroit has struggled to score points this season averaging 94.7, at home they are better scoring 99 points per game. The x factor here is the four days rest. For an old team rest in February is huge. Duncan only logged 13 minuets against the Kings so he and the rest of the Spurs will be well rested for tonight.
Pick: Spurs

Jrue Holliday will need to show up if
the Sixers hope to finally beat the Hawks
Sixers +4.5 vs Atlanta: The Sixers come into tonight's tilt as one of the Eastern Conference's hottest teams. Philly has went 6-2 in their past eight games and are 5-3 ATS. The Hawks and Sixers have already met up twice this season, with the Hawks winning both times. I will say both games were highly competitive, as the Hawks won by three in the first meeting and five in the second. Now Atlanta does come into the game ridding a three game win streak, however those three wins were against the Wizards, Clippers and Raptors. Philly is starting to come together as a team now and Eltron Brand is showing why they gave him $80 million. Jrue Holliday will have to have a better performance than his last game. Against the Knicks Holliday logged 36 minuets but only had 2 points on 1-8 shooting with 4 assists. The Sixers came close in their first two meetings with the Hawks I expect them to get over the hump this time.
Pick: Sixers

Season: 13-11-2
