65. St. Louis Rams -- Jerome Murphy, CB, South Florida
Well at this point it's not so much about who the other corners are, but the fact that the Rams selected a quarterback first overall and have one of the worst receiving corps in football and have done nothing to address the position is embarrassing.
66. Detroit Lions -- Amari Spievey, CB, Iowa
I'm a big fan of Amari Spievey and I don't really care at all about his low amount of reps in the bench press. His ball skills aren't great, but he's a solid tackler and a nice fit in Detroit's man-zone combo scheme.
67. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Myron Lewis, CB, Vanderbilt
Besides Brian Price, I've really liked what the Bucs have done and it doesn't change here. Myron Lewis has a lot of potential as a big physical corner who will likely move to safety in Tampa Bay.
68. Kansas City Chiefs -- Jon Asamoah, OG, Illinois
I guess the Chiefs are serious about playing Alberts at left tackle. Asamoah projects as a right guard at the next level. His short arms are a little bit of a concern as well. It's a risky pick here in the third round, especially with some pretty good guards in John Jerry and Mike Johnson still available.
69. Oakland Raiders -- Jared Veldheer, OT, Hillsdale
The Raiders are drafting really well...what year is it again? Veldheer has a ton of upside and potential as a small school guy. His biggest weakness is his lack of experience against top competition, but Veldheer has a chance to be a phenomenal left tackle in the NFL. He reminds me a lot of last year's Connecticut tackle William Beatty who went in round two to the Giants.
70. Baltimore Ravens (from Seattle through Philly and Denver) -- Ed Dickson, TE, Oregon
The Ravens get a player in the mold of Dustin Keller, and they badly needed him. Heap's nothing more than a blocker and a red zone threat and Dickson is a guy who can snag 60 balls, though with so many weapons now in Baltimore he may struggle for targets.
71. Green Bay Packers (from Cleveland through Philly) -- Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech
I thought that Burnett should have gone in round two so I think this is a great pick. Burnett will replace Atari Bigby and line up with Nick Collins possibly as early as Opening Day. Green Bay is emphasizing improving after their tough playoff loss.
72. Buffalo Bills -- Alex Carrington, DE, Arkansas State
The Bills actually did something I agreed with. Carrington is a small-school guy who will need some time to adjust, but he fits the need perfectly of five-tech DE in a 3-4 defense. Nice pick by Buffalo. Carrington needs some time to develop though.
