I wonder how Nike feels about their marketing legend being forced to wear a competitors logo.... In anticipation of the Stanley Cup Finals the United Center decided to show their support for their other tenant. The Chicago Blackhawks are making their fist finals appearance since 1992 and their first since moving to the home of 6 NBA titles thanks to Jordan's Bulls, The United Center. The Jordan statue symbolizing his most famous image and the picture that comes to mind when thinking of the best to ever ball, has been draped with a Jonathan Toews jersey, helmet, and ice skates until the awarding of the cup. The only problem is that Michael Jordan has and still is the most known Nike athlete in history, he has made the logo more profit than anyone else even including Tiger Woods. The skates Jordan is currently wearing on his statue have a clear Reebok mark on them. Reebok is the sponsor of the Chicago Blackhawks. It is a bit shocking this has not either been changed or dealt with in some way already, when Jordan attended the Western Conference Finals in support of the Hawks against Detroit last season he was seen in the a box wearing a jersey with the a distinct black mark directly over the Reebok logo. Why did Reebok care a year ago and all of a sudden not give a damn now? I appreciate anytime the NBA and the NHL are thought to be unifying for any purpose but does Nike?
Look very closely when the skates are shown.

You can even see a Reebok trademark on the front of the helmet....
