10. Vince Carter, Orlando Magiic
2010 Stats: 16.6ppg 3.1apg
Never thought I would say "I'd rather have Hedo Turkoglu". He was still good, just not a good fit for Orlando and pivotal games in the Conference Finals had Stan Van Gundy singing "Hey Mr. Carter. Tell me where have you been."
9. Kevin Martin, Houston Rockets
2010 Stats: 20.6ppg .876 ft%
I was kind of dissappointed after Martin was traded to the Rockets. I though he and Evans were going to be a great backcourt tandem, possibly the best in the league. Avery Brooks isn't a bad partner either though. Although he doesn't receive the acclaim that some of the elite SG's do Martin is one of the league's better scorers and I has been all-star worthy for a few years now.
8. Ray Allen, Boston Celtics
2010 Stats: 16.7ppg .913 ft%
When all is said and done Ray Allen may go down as the greatest shooter in NBA history. It all comes down to him and Reggie Miller. He hasn't gotten any younger, but he's still great at moving without the ball and that jumper is as smooth as always.
7. Manu Giniobili, San Antonio Spurs
2010 Stats: 16.5ppg 4.9rpg .870 ft%
I still don't understand why he is a sixth man. Although he has always been the third best, with the aging of Duncan and Parker's injury Ginobili really stepped up and assumed the leader role in the play-offs.
6. Andre Iguodala, Philadelphia, 76ers
2010 Stats: 17.1ppg 6.5rpg 5.8apg
Although he has not made the impact the previous A.I. has in Philly, Iguodala is one of the most the durable and consistent two-guards in the league missing only six games in six seasons and averaging at least 17 points 5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in the last four seasons.
5. Monta Ellis, Golden State Warriors
2010 Stats: 25.5ppg 5.3apg 2.2spg
His stats are impressive, but his injuries are frequent. The Warriors are hoping for a full season out of Ellis because with Steph Curry emerging as an all-star and the addition David Lee, Ellis could be the final piece of the Warriors play-off puzzle.
4. Joe Johnson, Atlanta Hawks
2010 Stats: 21.3ppg 4.9apg 4.6rpg
Because of his regular season excellence averaging at least 20-4-4 since coming into Atlanta in '06 the Hawks threw $120 million at him, despite two sub-par play-off runs. Expect Johnson and the Hawks to have another exceptional season, followed their usual play-off woes.
3. Brandon Roy, Portland Trail Blazers
2010 Stats: 21.5ppg 4.4rpg 4.7apg
Roy has been established as one of the leagues elite SGs since 2007 when he was awarded the Rookie of the Year award. Since his second season Roy has been selected to the Western Conference All-Star Team and received All-NBA honors in '09 and '10.
2. Dwayne Wade, Miami Heat
2010 Stats: 26.6ppg 4.8rpg 6.5apg
You've already heard enough about Wade this summer, I'll spare you.
1. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
2010 Stats: 27ppg 5.4rpg 5apg
He's in the twilight of his career, but until he is dethroned, the title of best shooting guard and best player in the world still belongs to Kobe Bryant.
